Dubai Successfully Hosts the 2nd Pharmacy Academy Medical Conference 2025 with Over 650 In-Person Attendees and 1,000 Online Participants

 

Dubai hosted the 2nd Pharmacy Academy Medical Conference on 14 November 2025 at Conrad Dubai, attracting more than 650 in-person participants and over 1,000 virtual attendees from across the region. The event reaffirmed Dubai’s growing role as a leading hub for continuing medical education and pharmaceutical innovation.

The conference was co-chaired by Dr. Yanal Sallam, Consultant in Internal Medicine and Head of the Internal Medicine Department at Emirates Hospital Jumeirah, and Dr. Wael Atef, Head of Pharmacy at Emirates Hospital Jumeirah. In their opening remarks, they emphasized the importance of strengthening the clinical role of pharmacists, supporting medication-safety initiatives, and advancing evidence-based professional practice.
